After breakfast, we walked along the beautiful beaches with clean white sand until we reached the trail to the lighthouse. The trail was about 2km's, one way, and was quite steep.
It only took us about an hour, and on our way we reached the most easterly point of the Australian mainland!
It was insanely windy of course, but it was so worth it. The views were beautiful and the only thing in front of you was the sea and the lighthouse.
Tomorrow we're moving on to Surfer's Paradise, another beach town and (as the name suggests) the best place for surfing, so we may try a bit of that! Watch this space!
